The city needed a fiber backbone to support traffic sensors, environmental monitors, and public safety systems. SCS mapped underground assets and designed a scalable downtown ring.

Legacy conduit records were incomplete, and coordination with multiple city departments was required before any street openings. Future IoT expansion had to be accounted for in the initial design.

Our team performed conduit verification, designed a modular backbone with spare capacity, and delivered GIS layers integrated with the city's asset management platform.
